Default Are S-03's the heaviest tire available?

I'm currently running S-03's all around on my car, and when I needed to shop for new rears, I of course went looking at the Tire Rack. They are now listing the weights for all the tires they sell. When I looked at the weight for the 255/35 18 they list 28lbs per tire. Just to compare, I checked the weight of the same size tires for both the Eagle F1 GS-D3 and the Dunlop SP9000, and to my surprise their weights were listed at 24lbs!!

Are the S-03's really that much heavier than all the other max performance tires, or is this just an approximation error? 4lbs of unsprung weight per corner is a lot of heft to shave with different tires. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Jim?
