Default S02 front & S03 rear?

My rear stock tires are worn but my front have lots of trend left. I am in Seattle and prefer to have better wet handling with the S03. Am I OK to just replace the rear with S03 but keep S02 in the front? I know I will have better wet handling with S03 on all four but I do not want to buy need front tires when trends are still so good.

Thanks for advice.

I think you are better off with the same handling front and rear. mixing tires can lead to unpredictable handling in an emergency. You would not be the first person to do it but I would match them this time and then change all four together the next time.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

I noticed no difference when I replaced my rear s02's with S03's and kept the S02's on the front until they wore out
