Default Safe to run new tires in the rain

This is not for my S but for an IS250. I've heard that new tires need to be "broken in" becuase they have some sort of slippery coating on the treads? So Im assuming that new tires need to be heat cylce by driving on them for xx miles?

Any thoughts or comments?

^Every model of tire is different, some have more more release agents than other. If you touch the tire treads some feel grippy were as others feel really slippery. Either way, just take it easy for the first little bit.

You just have to drive them and wear off the release compound. You do not need to heat cycle the tires.
