Default Snow tire questions...

Do most people get their packages from Tire Rack? Or locally? Also, is it definitely recommended to get a tire/wheel combo? Or can you get by with just using the stock wheels and swapping out the tires?

Absolutely!!!, that's how I did mine last winter, just make sure you get the right size.

In the long run, though, you should find another set of used pre04 rims, so you don't have to spend money for mount and balance twice a year plus scratches each time they do the work.

Personally, I don't like the rims that come with the packege, the handling is already too weired going from summer tires to snow tires, I don't wan't wrong off set to trow everything off even furture, but that just me.

I'm trying to get a set of LM25 myself, Tire Rack runs out of it for the season...what am I gonna do..., Jim

The advantage of the wheel and tire is your OE wheels don't get beat up and you don't pay for the mounting and balance twice a year.
They will work fine on the OE wheels but you throw away money twice a year.
If I can help let me know.
