Default Snow tires are on...no more spirited driving

Sadly, I swapped a set of snow tires onto my car today. This is my first year with the S2000 but definitely not my first with a RWD car so I know it has to be done for the coming weather. Going from 215/245 Star Specs to dedicated winter tires in 205/225 width is going to take some getting used to. At least it'll make me appreciate the enhanced handling offered by my summer tires once the weather turns nice again.

Anyone else swap to their winter set yet? Do you ever find yourself forgetting you don't have all that extra grip?

I have AP1 wheels with Blizzak WS60s for my winter setup. We're still in the mid 40s here though so I'm rocking the 17s, but not sure how much longer I can push it. Not looking forward to the white mess. :-\

I just put on ap1 wheels with dunlop wintersports and have to say it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I am also coming from star specs which had no grip in the cold anyway. I love driving in snow and my previous car, a 97 mustang cobra with blizzaks, was a blast in the white stuff. Only thing i'm worried about in the s2000 is ride height which was not a problem in the cobra with its truck suspension setup.

Just swapped on my ap1 rims with toyo observes yesterday. Was spitting snow and now I'm looking at 1/2" outside. Supposed to snow more today.

I think I pushed it to the limit My T1Rs were pretty much slicks in the rear anyway.

I should count my blessings, I'm from SoCal, daily drive every day of the year. Although I didn't take the car out today because it is sprinkling, will wait until the sun comes out.

Meh, I thought about putting it there but it's more about the car/seasons than the actual tires.

First day driving to work on these things...still getting used to the floppy sidewall. Can't wait until March.
