Default My first winter with the s2000 coming up

This winter coming up is going to be my first winter with the s2000 i live in northern virginia it snows about 6 inches a storm and occasional ice spots on the road. I know it cant handle 30 inches of snow like the past year here but im wondering if my all season tires will due or if i really need to get winter tires. Do they really help that much i dont really want to spend the money on the tires.

Dedicated snow tires make a night/day difference.

How does the soft top like the snow? This is going to be my major concern. I'm guessing it doesn't lol.

Get snow tires mounted on AP1 wheels.

They will keep you and the car safer. Also remember to be very gentle with your inputs for the next 4-5 months.

My snow tires pulled me through a snow drift that swallowed a jeep wrangler. Snow tires got me up a hill that my wife's FWD car with all-seasons couldn't get up.

Snow tires are worth every penny.

In the case of the S, snow tires are a must during the winter/snowy seasons.

Aside from tires, what else should we keep in mind. I'm a new s2k owner from NOVA as well so I'm in a similar boat.
