Default Specs Request From Pic

Hello everyone,

I'd like to get the specs of these Work Emotion XD9 wheels because honestly I'm not familiar with specs at all. Can anybody guess what are the specs here?

And could you please specify whether these are 17" or 18" wheels? If 17" what would the specs be for the same look with 18" wheels on. I'm planning on installing 18" wheels.

Thanks!

My bad. Thanks guys.

I think I'm going for 18x9 38+ front and 18x10 38+ rear.
I've seen pictures of that set up and they looked good but I didn't know what tire sizes I should get. Can you guys help me with that please?
And will I face issues installing them with stock suspension on?

It will look bad on stock suspension as they will stick out considerable. You will need to roll all the fenders and relo the tabs. tire sizes for that setup should be 245/35/18 front and 255/35/18 rear but that will not be easy to fit even with the rolled fenders.

Thanks for the info!
So will 18x8 28+ front and 18x9 43+ rear be ok for me with stock suspension?

No. All of these will look odd due to how far they stick out at oem height. The above fronts will be in nearly the same place as the 18x9 +38. Play with this.

Also, in general, 18"s will look dumb on stock suspension. Your car is going to look like a 4x4.

As a general guide, keep the offsets above +43. With rolling/very slight pull and the appropriate alignment specs, +43 to +52 are the best fit for wheels in the width range of 8.5-10" (with 10s being a bit tougher to fit on the lower offset range).

Offsets of +55 to +60 are ideal if you want minimum fender modification or none at all (will depend on wheel width and tire selection).

This is your car, and you're free to do with it what you want, but, you're going about it wrong. Are you trying to get your car to look like that car in the picture you posted? Based on your approach, it's going to look nothing like that car and will end up looking really goofy.

Is your goal that car in the picture?
What wheels do you have right now?
Are you really going to drop $3k+ on a set of 18" Volks to have your car riding high up in the sky? Do you really want to pay for 18" tires?

Buy decent set of coil overs for around $1800-$2300 FIRST. There are a bunch of used options for QUALITY coilovers that will automatically make your car look better with a 0.5-1.0" drop and make your car handle better at the same time.

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/109...t-4150-shocks/
Or some brand new KWv3s.

Said car in the picture is on 17x10 +44 front and 17x10+45 rear with what appears to be 255 tires all around. Running 255 tires all around on 18" is going to cost you around $150-$200+ more per set of tires each time versus 17"s.

Once you have the supporting suspension, then shoot for the $3k wheels - in 18"s if you really want to (nothing wrong with them, just not on stock suspension). If you want wheels that badly (before suspension), stick with 17"s and stay with wheels that have an offset of +43 or higher.

I really appreciate your replies! Thank you guys.
The thing is that I really don't want to spend more than 2000$ on wheels. And the best looking wheels with that cost, imo, were the Work XD9s. I'm going to install a suspension system later on, but I thought I should get wheels first in order to know how low I can get with my new wheels. Now I'm really confused what should I get first and what wheels should I get.
Thank you guys very much! I will keep looking and see what comes up.
