Keep looking and don't just jump and buy the first thing you happen across. You will almost certainly end up buying it again. Bullwings suggestions are all sound. Personally I did suspension first as it allowed me to not worry much about the fenders until I got wheel on (this is VERY dependent on how low you go and what you use the car for if you slam the car or plan on tracking roll the fronts at least to avoid damage). Then after quite a bit of looking I found the wheels I wanted and did what was needed to make them fit and look good ride height wise (some will argue if they look good being cooper on a red car but I like it).
Oh it is worth noting the car you posted a pic of has some serious fender mods. Not the kind that can be done with a roller and heat gun either. Those front fenders were flattened like that at a body shop. The rears don't look heavily modded but it is hard to tell. They are definitely rolled flat and the tab is relo'd.

I went to a tire center in the area today and showed him picture and specs of Work XD9 17x9.5 38× with 245/40/17 all around and he said they're going to fit okay and they will look fine. So I will go for 17x9.5 38+ rears but how about 17x8.5 32+ or 42+ in the front? What do you think?
Thank you for your patience lol bear with me.
Ok trust the tire center and see how that turns out. Forget the S2000 owners that know what they are doing the tire center guys clearly are the ones to listen to
Do the +42 in the front rears are going to be hard to fit and get ready for a lot of poke. Oh and before you even think of putting these on you should have your fenders rolled.

He said no fender rolling is needed, he said.... lol
I hope it goes well and looks like what I'm imagining ... thank you very much for your help!
Good grief.
Yeah 8.5 +42 and 9.5 +38 will work BUT with rolled fenders and rear bumper tab relocated. You will have issues under full compression. Your only saving grace is your at stock ride height, but that wont prevent damage or rubbing if you compress the suspension enough over a off camber driveway or bump in the road. If you’re looking at wheels with these aggressive of offsets and widths, then do the fender work FIRST before you get the wheels on the car.
As far as tire size, id recommend you run a 235/40 up front and a 245/40 in back. This will offer you the best overall diameter fitment stagger along with the widths for the rim. 255 in back would require an alignment with aggressive camber, which can be done, but it should be done when you lower the car first. 225/45 up front will be a poor mate to a 245/40 in the rear, as its overall diameter is larger. Larger in the front vs rear sucks.

Lol I will but few last questions haha sorry, how the looks of 17x8.5 +32 and +42 differ from each other? And why you said +42? Is not worth it riskig for +32s? I googled pictures but I only found pics of +42s.
Finally, lol, I'm going for 245/40/17 rears
What tire size should I get for fronts 17x9.5 +42/+32?
Thanks!

Oh S2000Junky just answered my questions lol thanks
So is it not worth it getting 17x8.5 32+ fronts since I'm going to roll my fenders anyway? And what would the difference in looks be between it and 42+ offset? Cuz I don't want to regret not getting one thing when it is available now lol.
Thank you guys very much! I'm going to place my wheels order today hopefully!

If you cannot understand why we are suggesting the sizes we are at this point you aren't going to get it. The 17x8.5 +42 will fit the best on the front with just rolling the fenders. 17x8.5 +32 or going wider and lower on offset will just make it more difficult or impossible for them to fit.
And with that
