spoon calipers

Default spoon calipers

just ordered some spoon calipers, I have blitz type 01 rims the fronts are 17x8 +45 offset will the calipers fit or will I need wheel spacers.

I believe the sw388s use +35 to clear.

there is a list of wheels that work with those calipers... run a search and you should find it.

yes, with a +25mm space and extended studs

I am looking to put a set of Spoon Brakes behind my Mugen Mf10's WHat are the ups and downs of running a spacer? What spacer would I need?

Front specs of wheel are 17x7.5 +52 offset

There are no "ups" and "downs" of using a spacer, other than the fact that you might need extended wheel studs (Which cost money) and your wheels will be pushed out for either aesthetic appeal or BBK clearance.

Luckily the MF10 has a convex spoke pattern so you shouldn't require more than a 10MM spacer, which shouldn't require extended studs.

Extended studs are recommended on anything past 10MM and are "required" on anything past 15MM.
