Default Steering feel with tires

Are there certain tires that will make the Steering feel lighter than others ?

I am so use to Front wheel drive cars that I kind of miss the lighter steering feel.

Is there a tire that would give a lighter feel but still offer quality handling ?

Thanks.

I don't think I could give a recommendation based on your criteria. If you said you wanted better handling or better wet traction then I could help.

A thinner, lighter tire on a higher offset wheel to minimize scrub radius will lighten your steering. But from your sig it looks like you're running stock wheels...offsets don't get much higher than that...

Shoulda bought an AP1 just messin

Can you tell me what you mean by the word "Offsets" ?

Thanks,

Your stock AP2 front wheels have a +55 offset. Wheels with a higher number offset will "suck in" closer to the car, while lower offset numbers will move the wheel outward. A lower offset increases the scrub radius, making steering more weighty.

A +55 offset is pretty high, you'll have a tough time finding a wheel with a higher offset...

Depending on how much of an issue this is for you, you may consider an AP1 rack: AP1 racks have a quicker ratio, hence my joking comment above. A quicker ratio may make the steering feel lighter.
