Default Stock Tire Life

I recently purchased an new s2000 and was wondering what I can expect for tire life (in terms of miles) I was told around 12k-15k but just wondered what others were getting. It an every day driver but I do not track the car or race it hard.

Thanks,

The rears go fast, I got about 10k on my 1st set, 13k on the 2nd. I'll get a new set of fronts this spring at about 25k.

Thanks. So the rears wear nearly twice as fast as the fronts ? That I was not aware of.

That's most expensive regular cost you'll have to deal with, but it's worth every penny!

I'm at 18k miles and have plenty of trend left...because it's almost entirely freeway cruising.

I probaly could have got another 2-3k miles out of my tires but driving around in the rain with low tread scares the willies out of me. I'd rather be on the safe side than sorry.

There were recently some posts of people over 30K miles on original OEM rubber. Ive never managed to squeeze out more than 10K from rears or 15K from fronts. It's all about how you drive.

4k on the rears. I'd expect maybe 8k on the fronts.

Whoops.
