Default Stock Tire Sizes ?

ok everyone,
I have the stock 16 Inch tims that came with the 2002, well atleast thats how they came with my car,,, I purchase a used 2002

the front tires are 205s and rears are 225s, so since the front tires are out I was going to replace them and I was wondering to see whats the thickest I can go on the stock rims ? 215s ?

and how about rears ? 235s maybe ? thanks in advance...

Stock sizes are your best option, just get a quality tire like Bridgestone RE-11 or Dunlop Star Spec.

Check out the wheel fitment guide..first thread on this forum. Without going to a wider rim your about maxed out. But keep in mind tires vary greatly in tread footprint. If you do a side by side of the same tire size on the same rim between the oem Bridgestone SO2 and say a Goodyear Eagle it will blow you away. The oem tire looks way wider due to it's sidewall construction.....
