I see alot of people going with the Sumitomo HTR ZIII lately and i may be going with them to. They are really inexpensive and the reviews are great. Checkem out at tirerack.

It really depends on what you are looking for out of the tires. Let me know and I can make a better recommendation.

Falken FK452 is the perfect street tire IMO.

I've sworn by Kumho Ecstas over the years. With over 182,000K miles now on The Bruised Banana...I think my vote oughta count . By the way, I bought 'em all from Tirerack .

Anybody have any thoughts on the Yokohoma S-drives? My bro has these on his audi TT and they work well for it.

I use the Hankook Ventus RS2 - Z212 because of the 16" wheels. It is one of the few brands that offer a 245/45X16 for the rear. I use the 225/50X16 on the front.

They last about 9,000 miles with a few autocrosses on them.

If you want to stay with the 205 - 225 setup, you will have a bigger selection of tires available.
