Give the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's a try. I am about to put them on my 18" BBS wheels soon. Getting them a little cheaper than a set of SO3's.

Read many of the reviews on tirerack and you'll see that it is quite comparable to the SO3's while many of the reviewers actually say it's better.

Tiretrack.com, rates the S0-3 at 8.8 in the wet, and better dry grip also. the REO-50 at 7.9 for the wet. and 9.0 for the dry. what do you have on your car?

That is correct....it's from a survey.

I suppose you could try either one and let us know what you think.

Definitely! Most of the people with the Michelins have tried the SO3's at some point and clearly give the thumbs up to the PS2's.

PS2's are supposed to ride smoother and have slightly better treadwear (hopefully)

I now have the Michelin PS2's on and for now they are great. An extremely smooth and quiet ride and from what I can tell it handles excellent. Haven't pushed it real hard yet, but it feels great.

S03's are rated better on dry than RE050's. RE050's are rated the best for the combo wet/dry.
I thought it was the other way around.
