Tire fit question

Default Tire fit question

will a ECSTA MX 265/40-17 tires on a rear rim that is 17x9

what is the widest I can get away with......my S is not lowered

255 I have read is fine but could I go with something like 265, 275 or even 285

the offset is +62mm

I wll be ordering the tires after I get a response

I would say it is not a good option. You would have a tire that is almost 1/2" taller tire on the back of the car. You could throw off the anti lock brakes. I also don't think it will improve the performance. I think you will end up with more understeer and maybe rubbing on the rear.

okay so 255 in the rear and what 215 in front?...............thnx Jim
