Default Tire help

I was going to pick up RE-01R's but I'm deciding against that for the time being.

I'm looking for other suggestions. Tires have to be 245/40/17 (I want to keep the same size front and back), from what I understand, as these are going on 17x8.5 +54 all around.

TO DOUG (Triple H)

I know Hankooks are your specialty, so what do you think of these:

-Ventus Sport K104
-Ventus R-S2 Z212
-Ventus S1 evo K107
-Ventus V12 evo K110
-Ventus HR II H405

Also considering:
-Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec <--- I'm leaning towards this one
-Falken Azenis RT-615

Let me know guys. I gotta get my Prodrive wheels on. Thanks.

^ I'm looking to save some money with something comparable. Roughly I'd be saving $200 going with the Dunlop's over the RE-01R's.

Why would you not want to stagger your tire sizes?

I would recommend the Direzza Sport Z1 Star at 153.00 over the other options. They are a very sticky tire that would be on par with the RE01R for less money.
If I can help let me know.

Thanks Jim

Is the sidewall on the Direzza Star Spec stiffer than the Re-01R? I thought I read that somewhere. Thanks again Jim
