tire help

so this has been asked probably a thousand times in this forum but here it goes anyway

looking at a wheel setup of front 18x8.5 +44, rear 18x9.5 +48

i know i will need fender mods, but asking what would be a recommended tire size? i want functional and drivable.

any advice will be appreciated

225/40, 255/35.

you can even choose to go wider up front with 235s...

with these offset how much fender work would be neccessary? sorry new to aftermarket wheels. want it to be driveable, even an occasional track weekend.

A fender lip roll and negative camber is all that would be needed. If I can help let me know.
