Tire Life
I'm just wondering what kind of tire life everyone is getting with what tires?
I got 14k on the factory S02's, and I've currently got about 6k on my Kuhmo's (which I'm sorry to say aren't fairing very well). Lately I haven't been as concerned with the amount of grip, I just want a tire that is fairly safe in the rain and will last decently long. Any recommendations??

I changed my rears at 12,000 when I started skating all over the Interstate, trying to stay out of the way of the 18 wheelers. They weren't down to the wear bars, yet, but they sure did hydroplane like crazy.
I expect to get twice that on my front tires. They are at 19,000 and have quite a bit of tread left.

My oem original S-02 front pair are about shot, but have run 30,800 miles
I also put Kumho 712s on the rear and this pair is now about shot at about 14,600 miles. I was expecting more.... since I squeaked out about 16,200 from my original rear S-02s (they were beyond the limit and were also hydroplaning on the PA Turnpike
) Sheesh, maybe I go back to S-02 or S-03 with the optimal dry traction??

Try changing the alignment toe in to 4 and you will get longer tread life out of the tires. At 4 you will still be within Honda spec for toe in but the tires will wear better.
No matter what tire you use the fronts will last about twice as long as the rears.
