Default Tire PSI question

Hey guys, just had a quick question. I threw on new wheels and tires a couple weeks ago and I filled them to 32psi all around. Once I put them on my car, checked just today, there were all equally at 28psi. Does this have something to do with the weight of the car?? or something?? TIA

They will go up and down with the temps and depending on the temp it could go up at least 3 degrees just sitting in the sun.

alright yeah i feel pretty stupid for not realizing that. Now i hear that you should check your psi on a cool tire (not right after the track or something) but just how cool is cool. Now that its going into winter..but im probably just splitting hairs and it doesn't really matter, right?

Alrighty sure thing. So its probably best to check the tires at normal temps? like 70-80F? as apposed to like....during the day around here which is like...105....110 around here sometimes?

Cold tires just means that they dont have heat in them from being driven recently. If you havent driven the car in the past hour or so, the tires are probably cool enough to get a good reading (and even so, after driving on them they probably wont be more than 2-3 PSI higher than normal unless you're at the track or something). Doesnt matter if its 50 degrees outside or 100. . .tires should still be around 32psi "cold".
