Tire Question
According to the fitment guide I can fit 275/40ZR17 on a 9'' wheel with an offset of 60 or more... my Volk wheel is 64 and 9''...
tires gonna be 275/40ZR17 Toyo Proxes R888 to replace my 25540/17 Toyo Proxes R888 (same wheel just wider) reason why I wanna go so big? I dont like skinny tires or that hellagay stuff and my car spin those 255s like nothing.. ( I drag race my car) they sticky once they get hot... but still spinning...
tirerack only has ~9 according to them... or I can jsut go to 255s again but Im highly considering them 275s

I think a 255/40 is a better fit for a 9" wheel but you can squeeze a 275 on there. One other issue is diameter, 275/40 is almost 1" larger diameter than stock and there is no such thing a 275/35 which would be ideal. Not a huge deal but it does affect gearing which may help (ie being able to stay in 4th gear) or may not depending on your power level and trap speed.
oh ok got it.. thing is I dont want my car to have rub issues either because I daily drive it too... so I might go with 255s again and try to control a lil more the launch... im kinda lost lol So many thing I wanna try but the bank goes down and slowly up
