Default Tire Rack Installer Question

I'll be purchasing new tires from the Tire Rack. When looking for installers, what question(s) should I ask the installer and/or what type (brand ... etc) equipment should they have to minimize damage to my OEM rims? Be specific please!

We do that homework for you. The Hunte GSP9700 is the best balance equipment and they make good mounting machines as well. You can just check to see if they use the newer touchless mounting machines. You just don't want the face of the wheel exposed.

Jim, Does this mean that all the installers on the tire Rack Site (Zip 70433) use the newer touchless mounting machines and a Hunter GSP9700 balance equipment?

Good question, how do I know which tire centers (that are on the Tirerack installer list) use the Hunter equipment? I'm in Atlanta and know of only one shop but there must be others.
