Maybe some Michelin Pilot Sports in 205/55 YR16 and 245/45 YR16. Or ask Jim @ Tire Rack if those Fusion tires are good, the specs on sizes 225/50 WR16 and 245/45 WR16 look pretty close to the stock S02's.

Those F1 tires are an inch bigger in diameter than the stock S02's. On my car I could feel a big decrease in acceleration when I went to a 25 inch rear tire.
You're looking at the 245/50s. Agreed that those tires are too big.

The correct rear size for the F1s is 225/50s, which are the correct diameter.

So the correct sizes would be the same as the OEM tire sizes:

205/55-16 front
225/50-16 rear

The problem with that is that the stock S02's have a tread width of 8.5 inches, the Goodyears are only 7.7 inches.

The best choice is still the Potenza S02's that came as original equipment on the car.

If you check upthread, that's been discussed. Like in everything, there's a tradeoff; if you want really good wet traction, you have to give up some dry traction.

The F1s are a great rain tire. For maximum dry traction, I agree sticking with the OEM S02s would be best.
