Default Tire sizes?

I have 17x8 +35 and 17x9 +38 and I am thinking of ordering 235/40 and 255/40.
Any input would be great!

And if anyone has pics that would be nice too.

I am going to get re11 or falken 615's

Tried to search but it is not working right now

Those sound like good sizes on an otherwise stock S2K

aren't those offsets too low? for him to run 235 and 255, he needs to be at +58 and +50, according to the 'sticky'!

others could validate this.

I hadnt considered the offsets... I just figured those sounded like normal width tires for 8"&9" wide wheels.

If you aren't considering the offsets, don't post regarding tire size suggestions!

With those offsets, no mods, even 205 fronts and 225 rears might rub.

Visit the wheel fitment guide stickie (which is appropriately somewhat conservative). And be aware that there will always be S2ki'ers who will encourage you to rock +35 offsets with 255's all around. Doesn't mean you should try it, though...

Thanks guys I know that I am going to have to roll the fenders and run negative camber. I was just trying to see if anyone out there was running these sizes with this offsets. I know there is a lot of people running 225/40 in the front and 245/40 in the rear with this offset so maybe i will just go with that.

with that size and offset i would run 215/45/17f and 245/40/17

or 225/45/17f and 255/40/17

this is a 215/45 on a 17x8+35 and 245/40 on a 17x9+30

With those wheels you are going to have issues without the fender lip mods. Stay with the 215/45R17 and 245/40R17 for the safest fit.
If I can help let me know.

Ok i was looking at that size too but i couldnt find the tires i was looking at in that size. I really like the falken Azenis-RT-615. I am willing to try something different, but I like the price and grip that i got with those and suggestions?
