Default Tire Suggestions?

hi all,

i am running Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions (225/255), my front tires are fine, but i need to replace the rear tires.

currently i am looking at the S-04 pole position as a compromise between spirited driving and everyday use:

but would like to see what you guys think.

thanks in advance for the help.

If you want to retain wet traction (better than the RE050's) and keep 255 in the rear, I think its the best fit. If you would rather have even better wet traction (and unfortunately more over-steer) go for the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. If wet traction is less important, the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 will be even better in the dry and about the same in the rain as the RE050's.

The S04 would be the closest match to the RE050. The 255/40R17 would be the best size to go with in the rear. The S04 was second only to the Pilot Super Sport in our testing but I think they will be closer to the tire you have in handling.
If I can help let me know.
