Tire vs wheel size Yokohama A052
Tire size fitment help
If I am moving to Yokohama a052 I see they run wide, on an enkei rpf1 17x8 +45 front with -2.5 degrees of camber and rolled fenders, I would imagine since guys run square 255/40 up front, a 225/45 a052 would fit fine since they are the width of most street tires at 235-245 but for the rear would the 255/40 on 17x9 +45 with -2.5 degrees of camber and rolled fenders/relocated tabs fit considering the a052 in 255/40 is more like a 275 in tread width compared to most typical street tires?

I would do 225 front and 245 rear. 235 is a weird size that ends up slightly to short or slightly to tall depending on which sidewall ratio you choose. I have 255 a052’s on a 10 inch wheel and they sit on there pretty perfectly so a 9 would be pinched but I’m sure others have done it without issue.
I’m now thinking that a 255 on the 9” would be fine as even if the 255 on the rear would be less sharp or precise it wouldn’t be a huge difference between that and the 245 and the 255 would have more heat capacity and straight line traction with my supercharger. Question is will the 255 a052 which is more like a 265-275 in some brands fit and clear rolled fenders and suspension arms on a +45?

what's your intended use?
Street driving only? I agree with Manga to do 225F/245F or if you want perfectly matching front and rear rolling diameters, 215F/245R - it will feel more enjoyable to drive, and if you're only doing street/canyon driving, you won't notice the very slight difference in ultimate out right grip, but you will notice the responsiveness due to how the sidewall is stretched/pinched.
If track driving - 225F/255R for ultimate grip and better heat capacity.

215/245 Will be better to drive and the difference in grip between a properly fitted 245 and a pinched 255 is not going to be much. Pinched tires also tend to not be as consistent in their breakaway charcteristics. If you plan on tracking...Get a set of 17x9.5s or 17x10s
