tire width i need advice
alright guys im buying new rims im getting 18in rpf1 i just dont know how wide to make them i am going to start tracking my car and im getting advan tires on them i just need to know how wide i should go?
A lot depends on what you are willing to do to the car. Fender lip roll or negative camber allows more tire. The other factor is how wide you are going on the wheels and if you are still going to stagger the wheels and tires. If you stagger them the 225/40R18 front and 255/35R18 rear is the best option.
If I can help let me know.

It depends on the offset. It looks like enkei has the 18's in 9.5 +40 which can work in the rear with a 255. For the front you can make that size work but you will have to pull the front fenders and run more camber. If you don't want to do all that for the front you can always get the 18x8.5 +40 and run a 225 or 245 in the front. If you are wanting wider than that I suggest looking at other wheels because you need a higher offset to run a 10 inch or wider wheel with a matching wider tire.
