Default Tires For 2000 S2000?????

Hello,

I need new tires for my car!

I do alot of autocross, a few lap days, and lots of pleasure driving. Not a car I drive to work........So....Having read through the forums I see that a tire size of 225/50 front and 245/45 for the rear is recommended for autocross (Stock 16" wheels). It seems to be a bit tricky finding street tires for the stock wheels. Staying with S02's could I run the Porsche OE 225/50 on the front since its a bit "slimmer" than the Honda OE tire? Any other suggestions? I really like the S02, its a very grippy tire and serves my driving style quite well. (Although a bit slick in the cold!!)

Thanks!

Ryan

Okay, let me see if I have this right. Our Honda OE rear tires are a bit wider supposedly than a normal tire of the same size? So.....basically what we are trying to do is to find tires that are the same width? In looking at tirerack.com I found the Khumo MX's are a bit wider on the front 8.5" vs. 8.1" than our OE S02's and a bit wider on the back 9.3" vs 9.2. This seems like it would be a good choice, right???!! =)

(The price seems good too!!!)
