Default what is a good alternative for the s02 tires?

for our 00-03 s2000s i need a tire change.. and bridgestone dealer here doesnt have the potenza sO2 and the size for the stock s2000... so i was thinkin what other tires have the same quality and grip of the s02s.. and i dont wanna change the size of the tires.. and id perfer them to be best for dry traction as long as i live in q8 (too little rain to have here)

and thanx alot in advance

It's too bad that you can't get the OEM tire. In dry, warm conditions (sounds like Kuwait to me ) they have excellent grip, perhaps better than nearly any other 140 treadwear tire I can think of. Whatever aftermarket tire you get should be sized 205/55/16 for the front and 245/45/16 in the rear. The wider size is necesary in the rear since OEM 225s have a much wider contact patch than aftermarket 225s, even more than many 245 section width tires.

I don't have any specific recomendations as an alternative as I have only run the OEM tires or competition rubber, but I'm sure this has been discussed in this forum. Did you try a search?

Good luck!

Why don't you see what tires you can find in the sizes CoralDock mentioned. After you find out, I'll bet you'll get lots of advice. Heck, you might not have much to choose from. That would make it easy.
