Default tires need replacing after 3k

I purchased my car 2 months ago and have put 3k on it and my rear tires need replacing allredy. I bought it used and even bought a warraty on the tires but it is not for repacement only if they are damaged. I feel that the honda dealer should of replaced the tires before selling it. should i do something about it? could i get them to replace my tires?

It was something you should have negotiated when you bought the car. As long as the tires had legal depth of tread, the seller. whether dealer or private party, was under no obligation to put new tires on the car.

Some dealers will put new rubber on a car to make the car more appealing, but that cost is reflected in the sale price.

oh yeah, i made sure they wrote up somethine about one tire being bald in the contract and replacing the "rear" tires. Since honda can't get the same tires, they replaced all 4 rubbers.

Legally they have to sell you the car with "legal" tread. If you drive it off the lot without checking its very very hard to prove it. If its not legal you should get new tires.

hopefully not on the street. if so you are in desperate need of an alignment or to remove your foot from the long skinny pedal on the right.
