Default Tires for Reno?

hey guys. I'm currently living in Texas but having to make the move to Reno, NV. I have to buy new tires before the drive out and was wondering if I should buy an all season tire like the Continental DWS or just get regular summer tires and buy a set of snow tires closer to winter. I already have an extra set of stock rims. Also, I have a 4wd beater that will see most of the winter duty but its not the most reliable vehicle so the S might see some snow action. Thanks in advance.

we get tons of snow here in reno so snow tires will be your friend for sure.
id recommend just getting some performance tires like Star Specs or Hankook rs3

since you have spare wheels and might drive your s2000 in snow, i'd definitely run two sets of tires. run snow tires in the winter and summer tires in the summer.
