Default TPMS Bypass

Is there a way to bypass the TPMS? (Besides covering up the light with electric tape)

Thanks

Put the 4 TPMS sensors in an air tight tube and pressurize it to 35psi and secure them in the trunk;that's what the late model drag racers do

I'm thinking more in the situation when people are running multiple sets of wheels...

I know with the Civics, TPMS is conncted to traction control.. disconnect TPMS, you are disconnecting traction control..... not sure what TPMS is wired to on the S.

On my 08 CR it's not a problem turning off TCS without the TPMS sensors in the wheels.

When get my new Volks I think i'm gonna have to install new TPMS sensors and get them calibrated
Another expense but I know that stupid light will annoy me
S2K TPMS sensors are made by Pacific Industrial but not sure if they will work w/ the wheels I want?
Maybe another brand will work if is calibrated properly?

This is the best way if you do not want them in your wheels, period. You can make the tube out of 3" or 4" PVC Pipe with end caps and a valve stem. This takes up less room than a 20oz Soda in the trunk, I've made plenty of them for people who hate TPMS.

I haven't tried it myself but I've read in the forums that the TPMS pipe bomb dosen't work in 08-09 S2K's
Supposedly the wheels have to be rotating. It dosen't explain how the sensors work while stopped at a red light though.
I probably will try it if i ever get extra TPMS sensors
