Default traction control issues 06my

I have had several sets of tires on my 2006 s 2000 . I have had Pirelli , I have had Michelin, I have had Yokohama, and nitto nt05. Today I put new rear tires on. Hankook k120 evo. 255/40r17. My problem is predominantly on on and off ramps . If I take the ramp at a normal speed which all of my other tires handle, my traction control light comes on and flashes and if I touch my brake ABS engages... Are the Evo 2's that s***** of a tire that I won't be able to enjoy my car? Or is there any other possibilities the car has 79000 miles on it,

Compared to an extreme performance tire like your old nt05's yes the hankook evos suck.

Is there a way to reset the system or just drive the car like an accord til these tires wear out?

What are your alignment specs? I had this happen on good tires when my front toe was way off.

OEM alignment stats. I had that done yesterday when we lowered the car (eibach) with OEM struts....the problem with traction occurred after mounting the new tires, before the alignment and lowering, as well as after the alignment and lowering. Is there a way I could possibly sell these hankooks and pony up the cash for a new set... I wish tire stores had an exchange policy... These literally have 150 miles on them.

Previous tires also included
Pirelli p-zero Rosso
Yokohama s drive
Michelin a/s
Yokohama avid 750. (Only fronts)

What options could I consider for a reasonably priced higher performing tire?

Redcelica- sorry I dont have the print out the sheet with me currently. However my friend did the alignment and every spec was dead center on the machine. It took him about 35 minutes to get them all spot on with not even so much as .1 degree off any spec.

OP, many people who have bought and mounted a new set of these tires have reported that they're pretty "greasy" for the first 500 miles or so. Give them a little more time and they should get stickier. However, they are not extreme performance summer tires with super-soft compounds. I'd say they're more of a compromise between grip, ride comfort, and durability.

Thanks for that also... I forget the first 500ish is just a breakin period for them... I'll be running my nt05 at the autocross tomorrow. I may swap onto the ventus for the fun runs at the end of the day though
.. Break them in... Learn their limits.... Legally. Lol

Turn off traction control?? The only traction control I know is my right foot.

...and yeah its no mystery, if you put a budget tire on this car you can expect a budget driving experience.
