traction control issues 06my
Blinking VSA indicator simply means it's fixing something -- probably rear wheel slippage in this case.
I can't comment on the choice of tires (other than these are inexpensive for performance tires) as I run Bridgestones whenever possible but the VSA will activate during acceleration loose or slippery surfaces. Easily simulated by poor traction tires.

I believe I will just daily these tires and try to kill them that way.... I've got another set of ap2v2 and a set of rpf1s that I can run real tires on.... Thanks for the input... For anybody who is looking for performance and value... Look elsewhere. He hankook k120 ventus evo is not worth it.... I even stepped up to the 255 for a little eXtra width.... Oh well
I think once you wear off the mold release you will be much better with them. I'm really only familiar with the V12 Evo K110 (the previous version) but it has been my experience that the tires really DO have respectable grip. What they don't have is a very stiff side wall so they are somewhat less responsive than some other tires. It's more like you feel some sidewall flex then the tire takes a "set" and sticks rather well. I really think you are probably feeling the effects of the mold release which under normal driving conditions, takes maybe 400-500 miles to really wear off. Heat cycle or lack thereof may be a factor also. No, they are not RS3's but they shouldn't be crap either.
Mold release and compound are probably part of it. The other thing is you presumably have worn front tires with larger-than-stock new rear tires, so that will make VSA more sensitive because you're already running a difference in rotation speed front/rear even when going in a straight line. You're always closer to triggering the VSA threshold.
Lastly, you can clean the ABS/VSA sensors. They are bolted to the hubs on each wheel with a single bolt. They clean very easily with a little brake cleaner and a paper towel. They can get caked with dirt and dust and that can affect their operation.

Thanks for all the helpful tips. I am running Yokohama s drives up front with 6/32 tread... I will be swapping then soon for a matching set of v12s they stick great and I believe the sidewall is my reason for lack of comfort around turns. About 400 miles on them now and they're starting to stick better....
