Thread Revival. I came across a good set of this wheels 17x9 with 62 offset. I'm worry about front rubbing issues. My can is a 01 with GC\Koni but height is alomost stock in front Camber is less than -1.
-1 degree of camber, 255 front with a 17x9 +62, you are going to rub. even a 24 (wide EHP class tire) will rub and probably a 225 or 235, especially if the suspension is allowed to compress enough.

What is the application for? Hella flush? stances? Hard parking? Track?
So there is no way of no rub without fenders rolled

Edit: I just read all of your posts and see you're tracking with Koni/GC at stock height and lowish negative camber. Just bend the fender liner tabs, use zipties to hold up the liners, and don't go full lock if you hear it rubbing the control arm.

I'll keep my previous post for anyone else researching the subject:

From my experience with that wheel with a 255 EHP tire, here are your issues:

1. wheel against lower control arm - you'll most likely rub the lower control arm at full lock. I think I've heard of a few people who were lucky and didn't rub. Solution: don't go full lock or buy some spacers to go on the steering shaft to reduce the amount of steering angle you can give(there's a thread about using spacers from a Mustang somewhere on s2ki).

2. wheel against lower spring perch - I've only seen this happen with stock shocks and springs and a good amount of negative camber(-2.5+). I don't think I had this problem until I added offset balljoints with stock shocks and springs.

3. fender liner tab - You can damage your tire with the fender liner tab when countersteering in a corner. This is only relevant for track or autocross. Solution: bend the liner tabs and use a ziptie to hold the liner up.

Thanks! that clear up a lot of my doubts

Need another pair to match the front. Cant decide + 48 or +62. Clearance wont be an issue as my street wheels are 17*9 +45 RPF1s.
If I do +62 I can rotate front to back while at the track, +48 would just look better/sightly wider wheelbase. Opinions?

I'd go with +62 all around for the functional purpose of rotating at the track. Once on the street, you can always throw some spacers on it if you want it to be wider. Personally, I think the +62 looks perfect in front. The rears look a tad narrow. You could just run extended studs and a 9mm hubcentric spacer in the rear, and they would match.

Went with +62 on all 4. Currently running a 3mm spacer front to clear brake ducts. And now running a 5mm spacer on extended ARP studs in the back.
Going to be doing extended studs in the front very soon, dont like running a spacer on OEM length studs even if its just 3mm.

bump, wondering if the 19mm 949 lugs will fit on these without clearance issues.
