Default Trouble Geting New Tires Put On:(

Hey I just got some new tires for my 18" wheels. I took them to the local honda dealership to have the tires installed. The honda dealership tried for an hour to get the old tires off but were not able to. They said that the lip was too big. I tried all of the dealerships and tire shops in the area. They all said they could not do it, or they would not do it because I did not buy the tires from them. I found a Benz dealership that said they would do it, but they would charge me $170.00 to take the old tires off and mount and balance the new tires. I looked around for a while and found a shop that said they could do it but it was still $100. Has anyone else had this problem before. I just hope I can make these tires last a while. The wheels are 18x8 racing hart C2s and the tires are 225-40-18 bridgestone fuzions.

seems like highway robbery to me...to get tires taken off should be about $5 per wheel, $10 at the most i'd say. mounting and balancing should be about the same per tire. Where are you located?? With what they are charging you, you can get a whole new set of wheels!!

We have installers listed on our web site that can handle it no problem. I have 7 listed in Shreeveport alone.
