Which Tyres for NSX v3 wheels on an AP1?
I've just acquired a set of NSX 2002+ wheels similar to these https://www.finishli...action=checkout for my 2002 MY S2K, which I'm hoping will fit ok despite the extra 1.5" at the back and reduced offset of 56mm instead of 65mm.
They come with fairly new Falken FK 452s all round in 225/45/17 f and 245/40/17 rears. What I'd like to know is how the 452s compare to the Bridgestone RE050As I'm used to (which were OEM 205/55/16 and 225/50/16).
Should I stick with the 245/40/17 at the rear or fit 255/40/17s? If I do, will they fit okay on stock suspension?
Also, the rears have been curbed and the tyres hardly stick out over the rims. I'm hoping that 255/40s will increase grip and help to protect the rims without messing up the gearing. My only concern, aside from clearance, is ride quality. Is a 255/40 more or less comfortable than a 245/40?
Has you fitted NSX v3 wheels to a similar AP1 and if so, how did it go?
