Default Which tyres shall I buy for standard 16" rims

I currently have Bridgestione re050a 225.50.16 on the rear and will replace these as they are nearly worn out (about 2mm to go) and they slip alot in the wet.
I want the best wet cornering grip and dry cornering grip I can get.
These are the choices (and sizes) I can get hold of

225 Bridgestone t001
225 Bridgestone s02 n1
225 Bridgestone re050a
225 Yokohama AD08 avan neova

245 Toyo 888
245 Hankook z212 ventus rs2
245 Hankook k115
245 Continental sport contact 2
245 continental sport contact n1
245 uniroyal rainsport 2

thanks for your help.

What do you have on the front? It is better to keep the same tires all the way around than have different ones up front than what is on the rear.

I just put Bridgestone RE11As on the rear of my AP1 and they're surprisingly decent in the rain and freakishly grippy when dry.

If you're really concerned about max wet cornering grip, the Continental ExtremeContact DW is probably the best in class, and does well in the dry too, but not as well as as some of its competitors. If you want something more extreme, the toyo R1R performs well, but doesn't offer as much hydroplaning resistance.

Agreed. You should really try to get the same tire front and back.
