Kinesis and Fikse and also BBS gets my vote... nothing else compares when it comes down to straightout track/street proven wheels.
Where is a good place to buy these wheels?

www.kinesismotorsport.com
www.fikse.com

It's cheaper to go thru a dealer, which you can call them up and ask for dealers from them. Also, a quick search on the net will bring up some dealers.
For BBS, tirerack.com carries them as well as others. Again, a net search will yield quite a few results. I have BBSs now, great wheels.

bikeboy: please post your Forgeline pics. It seems like Forgeline's expanded their offerings quite a bit since I last checked...they have some nice looking ones now, but the price for their Premier series is close to that of Fikse and Kinesis. Plus, their Premier series are only available in 19"-20". I like their new ZX3-R wheel. Previously, the only wheels I somewhat liked were the WC3 and SX3/SX3-R. They need to update their 5spoke design.

Expensive does not mean high end. Alot of the mfg's listed buy their rim sections from on source in Ca. and assemble them. To me that doesn't sound like a high end mfg.
BBS designs and builds specific wheels for specific applications. They build Formula One and Indy car wheels.

BBS is the best, period.

I have BBS 18" RG-R's and 19" LM's on my S2000 and M3 respectively.

Kinesis buys their new 1pc wheel from Champion Racing, which, I forgot to mention above, also makes very nice wheels!
Another piece of info some may be interested in, CCW (very nice track wheels!) doesn't use T6061 for their outter rims. I forgot what alloy it is, but it's not quite as strong as T6061. But CCW buys their rim hoops from someone else, so that's likely why they're the material they are. The centers are T6061 tho. They will have some 18" 1pc wheels out soon (right now, they only offer 19"-20"), so I'm anxious to see what those look like.
