I know this might sound a little weird, but heres the problem. I purchased some Espelirs ASD springs from a seller on this forum for my Honda 2002 s2k. I had them installed onto my stock shocks and aligned at a shop. I'm still riding on 16' OEM Ap1's. The question is why is the rear and front fender gap a little higher on the passenger side of the car? I can barely stick 2 fingers in fender gap on the driver side (driver side 1 finger gap) ; however i can stick 2 fingers in the passengers fender gap easily (passenger side 2 finger gap). Is this normal? anybody out there have the same problem? I'm 100% positive the springs are real and not fake or knock offs. The car has also never been wrecked before. Many people don't notice the gap difference, but i do and it bugs the hell out of me. If anybody knows whats going on here i would appreciate a response. thanks!

 

I actually had the same exact problem. But don't so much for now, just drive on it for a while and it should settle in the right way. Mine did. I hope it goes well for you.

 

I had the same thing happen on my Ford, As the above post mentions once the spring settles into its spot a little it should even out.

 

i know you've probably done this already but....was the ground completely level when you measured the gap....other than that i would just wait till they settle and they should drop evenly on both sides...or the front springs could be on the rear and vice-versa...

 

I've seen this on several cars...both stock and with springs. Billman did some investigating and found that it may be the bushing binding. He suggested unbolting the lower control arms and reassembling and remember to compress the suspension when torqueing the bolts.

 

actually i've had these springs on for about a month or 2 now...is that long enough for it to settle in or does it take longer? My drive way is leveled pretty flat so i'm pretty sure its uneven.

 

Mine only took a couple of days. Did you try the technique that Negcamber recommended?

hey negcamber, do you know a site or the torque spec for the lower control arm? Another question... if i do the front passenger do i have to do anything to the front driver side? one more question... hehe... if i lift the car, how do i compress the suspension while torquing it? sorry for all the questions, i am more of an electronic guy so i don't know much about this stuff. =\
