As far as low offset and negative camber goes, the last thing you see at a track are spec CE/TE/RE's rolling around in the +60's. Majority of all of them are running really low offset 35/40's to achieve a wider track, and are still able to utilize a wide tire on there.

My vote is enkei's in 17x9 + 45 all around
They look great and the reason it seems every s has them is they are light strong and track proven (the Acura team runs them)

I had the RPF1's in gold.... decent offset, will require a slight roll if you're dropped, they are light, look great, and for the price you can't beat them. Personally I would rock Rota's, the price is great, but if you do that on on this board you will be shunned.
