Default Upsizing to 17" - Jim Please help

Jim, first i'll apologize for not looking at the site or TireRack first, but yesterday I went out and replaced my tires and wheels because I discovered my rears were slick.

Problem is I think they put the wrong sizes on my 03. I replaced my wheels with Enkei GF1 17X7 5-100/114.38AM (51127) front and back.

For tires, they put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
235/45ZR-17 90Y DIR (34171)
UTQG: 400AA

This morning when I took it out, I hit a small bump in the road and the front tire hit the wheel well. Obviously, a problem.

Could you please advise what size tires would you recommend on those wheels? Thanks for your advice.

The tire is too tall for the car. They should have used a 225/45R17 for your car. I would say take them back and make them change it.

Thanks, Jim. They are replacing the tires. Would you stay with the 235 for the rear or go to a 245/45?
