Default Using tires from a bent rim, safe?

If the tire looks perfectly fine from a bent tire, is it ok and safe to still use it?

when you get the tire mounted and aired up check for any impact bubbles on the sidewalls or any kinked beads before the tire is put on....if not then the tire is fine...

However, there can also be defects and internal damage that you cannot see. If it looks fine via a visual inspection, go ahead and use it. But there is always that possibility that there's something wrong that you can't see, and it could cause problems. It would then depend on your willingness to gamble.

I had the issue you are talking about. I hit a pothole hard enough to knock fillings out of your teeth. The result was the right side had the front and back rim dented. The tires were removed and inspected, both outside and inside and were found to be OK. The rims were straightened out and the tires were remounted and balanced. I have them on the car and all is perfectly fine!!!! Smooth as glass.

Yes, you should check the inside of the tire. Mark the outside of the tire where the wheel is bent and check that spot really close on the inside after you dismount the tire.
