vibration on some roads - tyres?
Hi, I've been trying to get a definitive answer to my question on the UK site but with joy. Someone suggested the US side of the site had similar experience as himself (and I) and changing to new tyres cured the problem.
What's the problem then ........ My car is feeling a bit wobbly, fidgety and is also getting intermittent vibration through the car (on some roads) and through my drivers seat. Not through the wheel although I could feel something through the wheel. It's not on acceleration.
I had geo checked and whilst I could feel a slight difference it's not cured the vibration / wobbly ride.
It's been suggested by the company who did the geo that I get the rear tyres balanced to make sure it's not that.
Anyway as previous mentioned by a UK member, he suggsested a change of tyres worked for him and that he knew the US side had similar, problem is the search doesn't seem to work very well.
Tyres are potenzas, tread on front is v.good, tread on rear ok but probably half the amount of the fronts (I guess not too far from being replaced)
Can anyone advise please?
thanks
