Default Volk ce28n pictures?!?!?

I see alot of threads with volk ce28n's but none with the wheels actually on an S2000. According to Eddie at Mackin, there have been 10+ sets sold to vendors right here on S2K international, so I KNOW somebody has to have them. Please post pics if you have them. Even better if you have a yellow S2K since that is what I drive, and my wheels are on order.

Yes, there have been 10 sets sold, but only two sets shipped and one set received. My bronze wheels should be here on Friday and will have Michelin Pilot Sport Cups mounted soon afterwards. I probably won't be mounting them on the car until my next track session in April however, so pics from me will have to wait.

I've got a set of the Bronze ones sitting in my living room right now that I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I'm going to do with them.

I'm sorta torn between using them for the track, or the street, or somewhere in between. They sure are pretty.

I havent put em on a scale yet, but they do indeed seem pretty light... the 17x9 is definitly at least a couple pounds lighter than my Circle Racing 17x9 (also unmounted, in my living room)... and the Circle wheel weighs about 17lbs.

I'll probably get tires mounted and stick em on the car next week sometime. I'll try to post a few pictures when I do.

Mount them damnit!.... j/k. I can understand the angst of using them for street or track. I'm going through the same debate myself. By the way. How much did you guys pay for your set of wheels, and where did you get it from?

I havent mounted them yet... but I did just weigh them. Fronts (17x7.5) are 13.8 lbs and the rears (17x9) are 14.8 lbs. Yeah, they're uh.... pretty light.

This was done on a digital scale that's +/- .1 pound. Not a bathroom scale.

They are a little heavier than the Spoon 16"s, but the weight savings of a 17" tire vs 16" in approximately same diameter with lower profile seems worth it.

I saw these wheels at Super Autobacs while I was in Japan, but I can't wait to see them mounted on an S2k.
