Default Volk RE30, please verify my sizing

I put this same thing in a thread in the Gallery but I think it'll go better here.

I'm about to order a set of these and would like to verify these sizes with the experts here so I don't get myself into any trouble.

I'm planning on:
17x8.5 +50 225/45/17
17x9.0 +54 255/40/17

I'm lowered about 1.5" but can adjust as needed.
Need to be able to clear Spoon calipers.
Have +10mm front fenders.
I'd like to continue running the UK alignment specs.

I've researched this on my own to the best of my ability and I think I'm ok but it doesn't hurt to check. Also, based on what I'm currently running (CE28's in the standard offsets, 7.5 +50 and 9 +63) and measuring, it looks like I should have plenty of room. I think my main concern is that the fronts will clear the calipers. I know they clear in 7.5 +43, but haven't seen for certain that they will clear in 8.5 +50.

Thanks,
J

They will not clear in +50. go with 43 and even then in some cases spacers have been needed but only 3mm which is safe with oem studs with ease.

I know they won't clear +50 in a 7.5 inch wheel, but according to posts in the "Spoon Caliper" thread they will clear +50 on an 8.5 inch wheel. It seems to be a rare combo though, hardly ever see anyone running an 8.5 inch front.

Thanks for input though.
