Default Want to run wider tyres

Hi,

I just got a set of BuddyClub P1 QF in 17X8 +45 (Front) and 17X9 +63 (Rear). I have an AP2 running stock tyres and wheels ATM. Was wondering if running 235 front and 265 rear will be safe? Plan on lowering the car and don't want any rubbing issues.

Or am I just better off using my stock RE050's?

Thanks.

Hi, I'm a newbie and still unclear why anyone would want to run wider tires? Doesn't it mess up all the engineering that Honda went through?

Thanks,
David

BTW: sorry to side track your thread.

The 265's shouldnt be a problem, but the 235's up front might cause you some rubbing issues. I'd stay safe and run 225's. You wont have a problem
