I don't understand how irrelevant the wheel figment guide really is when so far I've been reading about ppl with +30 offsets and being fine.....and those xxr's in particular aren't offered within the guidelines but look great in that picture....im highly aware that the guide is just a reference and things like negative camber will have to be considered....but coming from someone that is having trouble understanding it all, maybe we should invent yet another guideline with everyones' fitments and what they've managed to pull off in years...obv just my $.02 ....my original plans with the tenzo's is looking bleak

I feel that +30 is going to give you problems. Start plugging some numbers into this website and see how much further each offset/width you are considering will stick out from the stock configuration: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
My wheels are 18x8 +50 up front, 18x9.5 +55 in the rear. Tires are 225F 255R. With no rolling they rub the liner pretty significantly in the front, but my car is pretty low. I believe I've only heard the rears rub once probably on the bumper tab. The fitment guide is probably a tad conservative, but it is also what you could run with no modification. There is a lot that you can do to make wheels fit. It is really up to you if you want to modify your body that much.
Pics for reference (I just got them last week, so i'm going to whore them out a bit)
This shows the fitment pretty well. They are "hella flush" enough for me.
Side shot. Near 1 finger gaps all around, maybe a touch less in the front.

Most list their specs - but you should pm anyone who has a very similar setup to what you are looking for to get their alignment specs and other info

You can really make anything work with enough modification. A friend of mine has 18x9.5 all around +20 in the front and +16 in the back.
He did a fender roll (not needing to repaint them) and a tab relocation.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I am very interested in the XXR 521's. I am dropped on Skunk 2 lowering springs and I was wanting to get 18x8.5 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. What offset do I need to run with these. I want to look aggressive, but not crazy aggressive. +43-45? I really don't know a whole lot about wheel offsets so some help would be greatly appreciated. Currently I have stock black AP1 wheels with a 25mm spacer in the rear and a 15mm spacer in the front and I really like the way they fit. So, I'm looking for an offset to match this as close as possible. Thanks!
