Default We need an offset chart...

Having read through a number of threads asking "will these work", etc., I was just thinking that we need an offset chart for each size wheels: 16, 17, 18, & 19 inch and a few varying widths.

What offset is ideal for each and what is a "workable range"? At what offset would one have to roll the fenders? Might fit well in the library section as well!

There are too many variables. What size tires front and rear. Alignment settings for camber, how much metal on the fender lip. All of these things come into play. Even the offset would be different on different width wheels. Some wheels may have an offset that works but not enough brake clearance.
It would be helpful but you would still need to check to be sure.

I understand that there are a lot of variables, but if we had a chart that had the basics on it, it might cut down on the "will these fit" questions. I can personally never remember what the correct offsets are, so I know that I would find it helpful if I could simply look up some samples to get an idea if I'm even in the right realm. That's all.
