However, I should also note that the S2000 seems to be much more resistant (than other types of vehicles) to aftermarket wheel mounting without the rings and the resultant vibration.
Do you mean more resistant as "better" or "worse"?
I mean do S2000's have less or more of a problem with aftermarket wheels?
(I'm thinking/hoping less but I'm double checking)

Btw.. I should not change my opinion again.. should I ?
Best option: :They work together as a team!

If you don't have any problems without using hubcentric rings, I wouldn't worry about not having them until you run into related problem. Just make sure to bolt on and torque down the wheels properly. If you have the hubcentric rings on, you just have extra assurance.

Personally, I'll continue to not use hubcentric rings until I run into related problem.

[QUOTE=xviper,Apr 14 2006, 05:57 AM] Less of a problem when not using the rings.

I go 200km/h+ on my favorite track and no self-shifting without hubcentric rings in any of my cars. Of course YMMV.
Are any of them 2006 Mustangs?

Here is a thread I just did on hubcentric rings with links to information that will explain what these thing are and what they do. Oh, and lots of pictures, too.
