All of those are doable. They will all need a fender roll and tab relocation as well as an alignment. The first set is the most agressive and would require the most work to fit. The second set I wouldn't run because 8 inch wide is to narrow for me but they are the least agressive. I don't see an offset for the kana ray wheels? As long as they aren't more agressive than the first set you should be fine. Personally I'd go with the works. I like 17's because tires are cheaper and you have more options also they are a well know. Wheel so if you ever go to sell them they should be easier to sell.

Whats the offset on the VR5's? I am partial to 17's like I said so I would choose the works even though you would probably be putting some more money into making them whatever color you want. The other 2 are fairly unique. All 3 sets looks like they have some rash and what not. Nothing unfixable but still something to think about. I am also going to guess that the tires on the first 2 sets may need replacing right away or very very soon but it hard to tell from the pics.

I'd go with the Works as well, would look great in bronze on a GPW. That looks like a pretty good lip, better check and make sure they will clear the front brakes.

Bronze is a good choice on white. I think that's a decent price for the wheels with tires.

sweet guys cheers think am gonna go for it just run 245/45 rear and 224/45 front ? no wanting 40 its just to hard on these scottish roads should really have 4x4 instead am liking the bronze colour at the minute gonna have to get it lowered, not sure weather to go coilovers or springs

No you need 245/40 for the rear otherwise they will be taller than stock. You can and should run 255/40/17 rears and 225/45/17 fronts.
